As one fourth of Lound
On Sound (L.O.S.), the music collective that rose to fame with their hit
single "Bad Guy P" back in 2012, Tomi Thomas has made a
name for himself as a versatile singer and songwriter. Aside from their
contribution to the L.O.S. music collective, which also includes the
rappers King Zamir, Briss and Bridge, all four members
vigorously pursue their own solo careers. Tomi released his introductory track
"Suca Musica" in 2013 last year and is now back with his follow up
release "Ready Or Not".
The new single is a
blend of House and Afrobeat, which Tomi fondly calls Afro-House.
Produced by GMK (Grand Master King), and mixed and mastered by BenieMusic,
the track is a catchy mid-tempo tune that breaks from the ordinary and delivers
strong lyrics atop a beautiful and slightly dreamy melody.
Tomi is currently
working on his EP titled "Patience", which will be released later in
the year, but that's not all: L.O.S. is back in the studio and all
four artists are dividing up their time between solo productions and collective
studio sessions, with an L.O.S. EP in the works that will be released
mid-year. That Tomi is ready isn't really up for debate; question is: are
