BET Awards have
released their 2013 nominees list. 2Face Idibia and Ice Prince were
both nominated in the Best International Act: Africa category.
Both Nigerians will
face off against R2bees from Ghana, Radio and Weasel from Uganda, Donald from
South Africa, and Toya Delazy from South Africa for the coveted
honour of being Africa’s Number one Artiste.
Young Money rapper Drake leads the rest of the pack with a total of 12 nominations including Best Male Hip-Hop Artiste.
This year’s Awards
will be held at at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live on June 30. Actor Chris
Tucker will be the host. Congrats to our Naija guys and GH brothers.
