Tuesday, September 25, 2012Omoba
The
7 remaining contestants in the MTN Project Fame Academy walked a step deeper
into fame last weekend as they delivered extraordinary performances to the
audience ecstasy.
The
performances cut across hit songs of Caribbean & Latino groove origin, and
their own personally composed songs at the Ultima Studios, Lekki. It was an
evening that saw the judges awestruck like the bewildered studio audience.
Opening
the floor with his debut song was ‘Oyinkansade’ singing a Yoruba love song which he titled
'je ka sere',
Up next was ‘Ayo’ sing his own song 'Time'.
The beautiful ‘Ella’proved that she was in the academy with her own piece, at the end of her love song, she was tagged every song writer's dream voice.
‘Marvelous’
performance stunned me, it made my day with fun, i must say with his own song "Lady & Sugar Bum "
Liberian Diva, ‘Musulyn’ also with every bit of smoothness sang her song beautifully well.
Next was ‘Christian’ who sang his own piece called "BABY".
Omo Osu wey no dey disappoint, ‘Adetoun’ rounded off the session with her own Fuji cum Waka track..... The next phase of the evening was Caribbean and Latino hits.
It
was a night of lovely performances from the contestants, with a blend of their
own composition plus Caribbean & Latino groove.
