New Vertu SmartphoneTouch 2012
-Nokia’s wholly owned luxury subsidiary Vertu has recently
announced the Vertu Constellation,
a premium smartphone with Symbian and a touchscreen. Many of Vertu’s previous
phones come with a feature-phone S40 operating system, the Constellation stands
out from the pack with its touch-optimized Symbian operating system complete
with a Sapphire crystal touchscreen.
To create such an exceptional phone, Vertu has used only the finest
materials. In fact, Vertu makes its cell phones as expensive as possible. These
phones are so expensive that their price is nothing short of elusive. After
doing some digging, though, this should give you a decent idea.
The “cheapest” Vertu available costs $5,100
and the most expensive has sold for $350,000. The house-priced gadget included
3 carats of diamonds and rubies.
The
'sea of sapphire' that makes up the face of the Vertu Signature takes more than
two weeks to create in a 2000°C furnace. Almost impossible to scratch, it is so
hard it must be cut, ground and polished with diamond-tipped tools
Currently
in the J Farren-Price collection in 18ct rose gold for $49,000, While the The white or yellow gold Vertu Constellation
runs for $19,000
