PSQUARE KNOCKS OUT WANDE COAL FROM THE NUMBER ONE SPOT ON “ @MTVBaseAfrica #OFFICIALNAIJTOP TEN” WITH @SpecialSlim

After a slow climb up the chart, dynamic duo, PSquare have
finally achieved top ranking in the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10,
displacing Wande Coal’s “The Kick” which falls to third place.
Last week’s studio guest, Chidinma continues
to make good progress - currently sitting at number 2 with “E Mi Ni Baller”
from her number 3 spot.

Cool FM’s DJ Xclusive, putting himself in a
comfortable number 7 with “No Time”, joins VJ Ehis (@SpecialSlim)
in the Top 10 studio to co-host this week show and run through the week’s
charts.
Burna Boy’s “Run My Race” moves smoothly into
the number 5 with Dbanj’s “Don’t Tell Me Nonsense” holding firm to the number 4thposition. 2Face’s “Rainbow” is
starting to fade, falling two places to number 10. Also on the way
down are Flavour’s “Chinny Baby”(number 8) and “VIP” by Ice
Prince - now at number 6.
Timaya follows last week’s chart debut by
rising one place to number 9 thanks to “Ekoloma Demba”.

by Star Music is put together by an elite panel of judges comprising
Nigerian broadcasters, music specialists and tastemakers, working with MTV
Base to pick the winners and losers in the week’s chart. On the panel
are Onos Ovueraye (Bella Naija.com), DJ Humility (Rhythm FM), DJ
Jimmy Jatt, DJ Xclusive (Cool FM), Big Time (Rhythm FM), DJ
Caise (The Beat FM), Toolz (The Beat FM) and Osagie Alonge(Nigerian
Entertainment Today).
