OOUTH Female Lecturer Kidnapped For N50m

Abductors of Dr. (Mrs) Olusola Otulana, a lecturer at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, who was kidnapped have allegedly insisted on collecting a N50 million ransom before releasing her.
The victim, an ophthalmologist with the Department of Surgery, College of Health Sciences, Sagamu campus, was kidnapped last Friday, while returning from Ikorodu in Lagos State She was said to have wailed throughout the phone conversation, pleading with with her husband to do whatever he could to rescue her from the ordeal.
It was gathered that the kidnappers trailed her from Ikorodu to the relatively lonely Imota stretch of the Ikorodu- Ijebu-Ode road before they took her away.
The abductors were said to have initially demanded N100 million ransom but later reduced it to N50 million on Sunday. When contacted on phone, Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, said the police were not aware of the incident.
Adejobi added that when he contacted the Divisional Police Officer in Ago-Iwoye, he was told that no such incident had been reported to the division
