Hacker Cracks Into Nigerian Celeb Twitter Accounts

Hacking in Nigeria has
taken a new turn as Nigerian celebrities become the latest target. Hackers
recently claimed to have accessed the Twitter and Facebook accounts of at least
30 Nigerian celebrities.
The hacker is already tweeting from the Highlife singer’s account @FLAVOURNABANIA and has promised to hack the accounts of D’banj, Donjazzy, Tuface, Wizkid and Banky as well as other celebrity Twitter and Facebook accounts he claims to have access to.
Government officials claim to be monitoring the situation closely and are looking at implementing a number of new strategies to crackdown on illegal hacking and identity theft in the country.

The federal government
has already implemented a number of new schemes to crackdown on the illicit use
of the Internet, especially email scams that attempt to steal money from other
users.
